Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah SWT. It is with great pleasure that I welcome all visitors to the official website of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic & Global Sustainability), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).

In line with UTeM’s continuous growth as one of Malaysia’s leading technical universities, strategic planning and global sustainability have become crucial elements in ensuring that the university remains relevant, competitive, and sustainable. The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic & Global Sustainability) plays an important role in leading the formulation, coordination, and monitoring of the university’s strategic initiatives, while strengthening global collaborations to enhance UTeM’s standing at both national and international levels.

In facing the challenges of an increasingly dynamic higher education landscape, UTeM remains committed to strengthening institutional development strategies through innovative, impact-oriented approaches, guided by sustainability principles. The emphasis on sustainability not only supports the university’s aspirations in technology and TVET development, but also aligns with global agendas such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which serve as the foundation for the well-being of society and the environment.

This website has been developed as an official platform to provide information on the university’s strategic planning, sustainability initiatives, international collaborations, as well as various programmes and activities carried out by this office. It is hoped that this platform will serve as a key reference for the university community and external stakeholders in obtaining accurate, timely, and up-to-date information.

In closing, I sincerely hope that the website of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic & Global Sustainability) will continue to serve as an effective communication channel and support UTeM’s efforts in strengthening its image as a technical university that continuously pioneers and leads at the global level.
